FAQ

1. Before I make a photo product will I have to download any software to my PC or Mac?
No, Nellie has been designed to work online so you don't need to download any software before you start making Nellie's fantastic range of photo products.

2. I have noticed many photo gift sites don't cater for Mac users, is Nellie different?
Yes, Nellie's software works through your internet browser and is therefore compatible with both Mac and PC computers. Nellie love both Mac users and PC users. We are a Mac and we are a PC!

3. When I make a photo mug, I want to put more than just one picture on it, is this possible?
Yes, when you are in the product builder, choose the "change layout" tab on the right then choose from the different layouts available to you. We have a large range of layouts to choose from on every product, not just photo mugs. Go on, get creative.

4. When I upload photos it seems to take a long time?
Uploading any file to the internet can take a long time, especially if you have a slow connection, but once you have uploaded your pictures, Nellie will save them for you in your account so you don't have to upload them more than once. At Nellie, we start a lot of pictures uploading then go and make a cuppa whilst we wait.

5. Do I need to register before I can use the software?
No, you can use the software and upload images with out registering, but if you want to save your work or place an order you will need to make an account, but unlike some of our competitors, we don't think you should have to register before you try out the software!

6. How long will it take for my order to be delivered?
We try our best to dispatch orders within 5 working days. If you have a last minute request, please email ellie@nelliestore.co.uk and we will try and fast track your order. We don't mind working that bit later if it means your special order gets there on time for that special event or birthday treat!

7. Will my personal details be shared with any other company?
No, your details will be kept safe and sound. We will not sell or pass your details on to another organisation. From time to time Nellie may launch new products or have special offers that would benefit you so we may contact you to keep you informed.

8. Are your photo books good quality?
Yes they are. We use the latest digital production printing presses to ensure that the quality of our photo books are the best. Then we bind them using state of the art binding techniques to ensure the pages stay intact for years to come.

9. I noticed a fun section in the product builder. What is it?
We're proud of the fun section, it allows you to drop funny graphics onto your photos, perhaps put a moustache on your friend or a daft hat on your cat, the choice is yours! Play around with it, you'll have plenty of fun. Look out for our themed graphics that we put on during specific times of the year like halloween or valentines day...

10. Nellie seems to be a bit different from the other photo product sites. Why is this?
We are not a big corporation, we're just a small independent company that cares about its customers. Because we are small, we can be more creative with our product range and our product builder software is more flexible, allowing us to offer products that aren't available anywhere else on the web. Our A1 life print is a good example of this, as is the gallery mug featuring 15 of your favorite images.
